The HSMAI Day take place at Clarion Hotel Sign in Stockholm. A full-day conference intended to provide you and your team an overview of current industry developments, focusing on subjects HSMAI considers important to put on the industry’s agenda. One of this year’s topic is Winning for customers and company culture through HSMAI Region Europe’s program, The Service Pledge. Tomorrow’s winners are companies that invest in their company culture and bringing the customer experience to the boardrooms. Karianne Røisland boasts an 18-year-career in Nordic Choice Hotels, since the very start, at which point the chain had no more than five hotels, and during the expansion, until seeing 170 hotels. She is experienced in sales, operations and HR, both in individual hotels and in the hotel group’s headquarters, and has advanced through the ranks, from local sales manager through to hotel manager. Moving on to the corporate HQ, as Region East Norway VP Sales and, at a later stage, for the Nordics. For several years she has also been involved in recruitment, climate analysis, mentor and trainee programs, and in the development of the corporation’s qualification platform in the Choice Academy company, a total supplier in competence development. Also, she worked as Commercial Director in winter resort Hafjell/Kvitfjell by Alpinco. Since her 2011 leave of Nordic Choice Hotels she has acted as a self-employed consultant.

Karianne is a certified HSMAI Region Europe Executive Coach, among the consultants HSMAI will turn to in the execution of HSMAI program the Winning for Customer – The Service Pledge program

She has experience from Digital and B2B sales, pricing, revenue management, distribution customer service, EGO Stores and SAS Trading Travel Retail. During her time at SAS she has managed to implement a number of changes at a rapid pace, both within the domestic and international landscape, and at the same time delivering good results.
