For some years ago Brigitte Gruber was the Secretary General for HSMAI in Austria and worked close with the HSMAI Region Europe and together we hosted a very successfulæHSMAI Europe conference in Vienna. Then she moved abroad for some years.
Brigitte is now back as part of the HSMAI family and she just became one of the Advisory Board members for the HSMAI Europe Sales Advisory Board. She also just got certified by HSMAI as Certified Revenue Management Executive – CRME
Q: What does a day at work consist of for you?
A:æStrategic planningæadministrationæsales and toæget organized for the next workshop.
Q: What’s the best part of your job?
A:æWorking with different teams from different hotels developing ideas and putting them into place and celebrate success.
Q: Do you have anyone you’ve looked up to?
A:æRico de Schepper a grand senior in the hotel industry andæRichard Branson for its guts and creativity.
Q:æDo you have any nice traditions at your office?
A: Coffee and croissants (Kipferl as we call it in Austria) at any time of the day

A:æ15 years (with a short intermission but always with my heart)

A:æMeeting passionate professionals from all over the world people who want to be great / the best in what they are doing
Q: Are there any activities or projects you think HSMAI should start up?
A:æRe-evaluation / re-invention of sales in the digital world

A: Meeting friends and enjoying good food and wine spending time with my daughter a lot of fresh air
Q: If you were trapped on a desert island what would you take with you if you could choose just one thing?
A: Aælucky charm; a souvenir of my mother! Everything else is in my heart
