On September the 5th HSMAI Europe hosted the first Sustainability Stammtisch in Munich Walk the Talk at the Holiday Inn Munich City Centre.

Some of the topics we focussed on was:

• What does the market expect from our industry? What’s “hygiene factor” and what does “above and beyond” currently mean?
• Focus areas on corporate transient // MICE // but also touching on Leisure
• Where are our industry peers right now on that journey
• The jungle of various labels. Is there guidance?
• Walk the talk – How can GM’s and Commercial hotel leaders put thoughts into action – Putting together a coms strategy plan
