Managing Director

Infor Easy RMS

Stanæis also a member of the HSMAI EuropeæRevenue Management Board

Q: What does a day at work consist of for you?

A:æMy days are ‘ìnon-standard’ meaning that every day brings new and exciting things. æI am regularly in touch with clients and/or prospects – either on site or at a conference or tradeshow around the globe so travel is a big part of my daily job. æAnother part is off course keeping on top of what is happening in the Revenue Management world and latest trends and developments in that arena. æEnsuring that the internal organization – and everything that goes with it – moves ahead is another area I keep myself busy with.

Q: What’s the best part of your job?

A:æI enjoy discussing Revenue management practices/trends with our team as well with clients however the best is when clients give positive feedback on any member of the team.

Q: Do you have anyone you’ve looked up to?

A:æI am inspired by a number of people in the past not necessarily famous ones though. Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to work with some very inspiring managers and leaders which has helped defining in what I am today.

Q: Do you have any nice traditions at your office?

A:æWe have various offices around the world and some have nice traditions such as the Christmas Jumper day where all of the team wear the most ‘ìflashy’ Christmas sweaters.

Q: How long have you been a member of HSMAI?

A:æGood question I would need to look this up but a number of years for sure.

Q: What do you think is the best thing about HSMAI?

A:æI am particular happy about the fact that there is now a HSMAI EMEA initiative as the pan-European approach was missing. Before it was mainly national activities in Europe. The fact that HSMAI is evolving with the industryæ – as i.e. putting an european RM advisory board in place shows it is alive and kicking.

Q: Are there any activities or projects you think HSMAI should start up?

A:æStimulate the various advisory boards to interact with the counterparts in other regions would add value I believe.

Q: Describe your perfect weekend.

A:æIf I am coming back from a week of travel and back to back appointments I am happy to relax read a book go for a walk and so on.æ However I do enjoy having dinner parties and spending time with family and friends.

Q: If you were trapped on a desert island what would you take with you if you could choose just one thing?

A:æ‘ìHow to survive on a deserted island for dummies’ book.

Q: What is the title of the book about your life?

A:æWork hard live harder.

Q: What is your next travel destination?

A:æI am about to leave for Paris.

Q: Do you have any special hobbies?

A:æNo special hobbies I am afraid. I enjoy reading playing wordfeud go for a walk etc. Once I have more time for a hobby I will let you know.

Q: Thank you for your time. Do you have any personal comments?

A:æThere is a statement from the clinicclowns that I like: A day without laughter is a day not lived.
