Q: What does a day at work consist of for you?
A: News check early in the morning hunting for next top trends in the hospitality industry and last but not least: morning break with the finest Ethiopian coffee.
Q: What’s the best part of your job?
A: Quick feedback from my audience and readers!
Q: Do you have anyone you’ve looked up to?
A: Maybe after 25 years of advanced journalism since 1997 in leading positions. Honestly I learn at lot from the young media entrepreneurs how to use technical gadgets and best-practice with the latest life-streaming apps for instance.
Q: Do you have any nice traditions at your office?
A: Always (enough) time for a (quick) personal talk with my team members! And internal tasting sessions of new fancy (non-alcoholic) drinks the finest coffee brews and teas such as Matcha green tea.
Q: For how long have you knownæHSMAI?
A: I’ve been appreciating HSMAI for a long time. As a new media partner I’m very pleased with the strong partnership!
Q: What do you think is the best thing about HSMAI?
A: How can I put this? HSMAI is of course the best international network of the industry!
Q: Are there any activities or projects you think HSMAI should start up?
A: A fresh-up of the HSMAI Channel YouTube channel – with great pleasure and in cooperation with HOTELIER TV.
Q: Describe your perfect weekend.
A: 48 hours of pure time with my family out in the nature and enjoying a ride on my horse.
Q: If you were trapped on a desert island what would you take with you if you could choose just one thing?
A: If possible a container with all the books that I ever wanted to read.
Q: What is the title of the book about your life?
A: In Europe by Geert Mak.
Q: What is your next travel destination?
A: Munich for the famous Oktoberfest so-called Wiesn!
Q: Do you have any special hobbies?
A: Riding swimming running cooking reading ‘_ I’m afraid I have way too many!
