13 years ago Roksela Miha was an intern at the HSMAI Norway and HSMAI Europe in Oslo for 6 months; today she is re-joining the ambitious team of HSMAI Region Europe. She will be working as the Personal Assistant to Ingunn Hofseth, CEO & President, as well as the project manager for meetings, programmes and events of HSMAI Region Europe.

Coming originally from Albania, Roksela studied Business AdministrationÊwith a focus on Tourism and Leisure Management at the IMC University of Applied Sciences in Krems, Austria. After internships and job positions in many different countries, she established her own marketing and consultancy company aiming at managing and promoting start-up businesses in the hospitality and tourism industry. Several years later, she joined the Lauder Business School, University of Applied Sciences in Vienna, where she would be in charge of the Admissions department. RokselaÕs enthusiasm brought her to additionally teach courses such as sales- and product-management as well as devise and conduct Diversity Workshops, leading to the position of Professor at the Lauder Business School.

Roksela has now moved to Amsterdam and will be based there. She will start in her new role 2nd January 2017.

Roksela followed HSMAI Region EuropeÕs development through all these years; ÒI learned incredibly much when working together with Ingunn and her fantastic team,Ó she says, adding: ÒThanks to Ingunn, who was a real mentor for me, I was able to become more confident and still remain humble. I learnt the important values of honesty, objectivity, generosity, passion, inclusion and persistency Ð as after all nothing is impossible. I feel privileged and excited to have been given this amazing opportunity, and look so much forward to working together with the ambitious and fun team, and certainly with all the inspiring members and industry leaders.Ó

ÒI am delighted to welcome Roksela back to our team. During the 6 months she worked as an intern at our office in 2003 she already stood out with her outstanding, positive can-do-attitude and hard-working personality, and I am happy to see the further development she has had in her career. Roksela will take over many of the duties of my former PA Kaisla Saastamoinen who will from now on work as the Education Manager of HSMAI Region Europe part-time while at the same time will be finishing her Masters Degree in Customer-centric Service Development in Finland. It will be hard to fill KaislaÕs shoes but at the same time I am very happy to continue to work with Kaisla in her new role too. These changes make our team even stronger, and we look forward to a great 2017,Ó says Ingunn Hofseth, President & CEO of HSMAI Region Europe.
