Exploring Total Revenue Management

Don’t miss your chance to sign up for an HSMAI Europe event near you this June, all about Total Revenue Management!

The first conference hosted by HSMAI Europe focused on this topic was in 2012. It has taken quite some time before this started to become a focus for many hotels. However, today they seem much more ready, and so Total Revenue Management is one of the topics on our agenda.

Join us to listen to Anders Johansson, a renowned expert in hotel revenue management, as he introduces and delves into the concept of Profit-Oriented Revenue Management (PORM). Moving beyond traditional revenue metrics such as occupancy and RevPAR, PORM represents a profound shift in focus toward profitability at every level of operation. Anders Johansson will be joining us in several cities:

In addition, we are hosting a Breakfast Meeting on 22 June at the New-York-inspired one-of-a-kind Scandic Grand Central in Stockholm. This informative and inspiring morning session, including breakfast, will be all about taking your MICE Sales to NEW HEIGHTS!

In other news, we are incredibly proud to announce the success of the Hospitality Unlocked Student conference in Luzern last week! Close to 140 students attended, and it was amazing to witness such great energy and enthusiasm. A big congratulations and thank you to the HSMAI Europe Student Council for their hard work and dedication, as well as a special thank you to Josef Jans and SHL for their warm and extraordinary support.

We have also shared information about the Mike Dimond Student Career Success Grant that students can apply for. This grant offers a unique opportunity for students to receive valuable financial assistance that can significantly contribute to their future career in the hospitality industry.

The Mike Dimond Student Career Success Grant, offered by The HSMAI Foundation, aims to support students who demonstrate exceptional potential and passion for the hospitality field. It provides financial assistance for professional development opportunities, such as attending industry conferences, workshops, certifications, or furthering their education.

Today is the final deadline for students to apply for this amazing development opportunity. Don’t miss your chance to take your career to the next level!
