De gasten hebben gesproken: tijdens The HSMAI Day Holland in het splinternieuwe hotel Van der Valk – Amsterdam Amstel afgelopen donderdag 4 oktober, deelde HSMAI, in samenwerking met het Duitse bedrijf Customer Alliance, de eerste nationale Guest Experience Awards in Nederland uit. Prijzen zijn gebaseerd op klanttevredenheidsgegevens en beoordelingen in verschillende portals, zoals TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Hotels.com, Google, Facebook e.d.

De prijzen werden uitgereikt door Shane Forster, Head of Marketing bij Customer Alliance.

Genomineerden waren er in drie categorieën; attracties, restaurant en hotels.

1) Attracties

Winnaar in de categorie Attracties: Bizarium Museum.

De eervolle vermelding in deze categorie ging naar het Zuiderzeemuseum.

De andere finalisten waren:

– Efteling
– Estate Hoenderdaell
– Louwman museum
– Micropia
– Museum Voorlinden
– SpaSereen
– Sprookjeswonderland
– Van Gogh Museum

Over de winnaar in deze categorie, Bizarium Museum, zei Shane Foster van Customer Alliance het volgende:

“Our winner for the 2018 HSMAI & Customer Alliance Guest Experience Award for Attractions goes to one of our most intriguing candidates in all of Europe. They are a museum from Zeeland which you could say showcases innovation in the many weird and wonderful ways it comes. Who knows where we would be without the flying bicycles and swimming umbrellas which you can find at this museum? Having achieved a customer satisfaction score over 96% from the past 12 months, it’s apparent that not guests not only love the experience of the museum, but with the operators interacting with over 40% of the public feedback left by guests, it’s clear that the experience continues once they return home as well.”

En over de eervolle vermelding van het Zuiderzeemuseum werd gezegd:

“Our showcased highly commended Attraction for 2018, goes to an indoor and outdoor museum not too far from Amsterdam. Dedicated to life in the region, the museum is a favourite for family and children with a heavy focus on the integration of the sea for the local residents. With over 400 reviews over the past 12 months and a guest satisfaction rating of over 92%, this finalist has shown excellent commitment to an outstanding guest experience.”

 

2) Restaurants

Winnaar in de categorie Restaurants: Restaurant Senses by Lars Bertelsen.

De eervolle vermelding in deze categorie ging naar Brasserie Ambassade.

De andere finalisten waren:

– Greenwoods Keizersgracht
– Greenwoods Singel
– Mauritshuis Brasserie
– Midtown Grill
– Omelegg – City Centre
– PIQNIQ
– The Seafood Bar
– Winkel 43

Over de winnaar in deze categorie, Restaurant Senses by Lars Bertelsen, zei Shane Foster van Customer Alliance het volgende:

“Our winner for the 2018 HSMAI & Customer Alliance Guest Experience Award for Restaurants goes to another fine dining experience here in Amsterdam. Having just undergone renovation, this restaurant has a high focus on creativity and an unexpected culinary experience, resulting in beautiful, culinary delights. With no set menu, are bound to have to be not only surprised but in wonder from the served dishes. Under stiff competition, this restaurant achieved a 94% guest satisfaction score over the past 12 months from 663 reviews, just beating out other finalists.”

En over de eervolle vermelding van Brasserie Ambassade werd gezegd:

“Our showcased highly commended Restaurant for 2018, comes from right here in Amsterdam. A fine-dining experience serving French cuisine, this restaurants prides itself on using local and seasonal ingredients whenever possible. Opening in 2015, this restaurant has already received rave reviews, which reflects across their online presences over the past 12 months, with guest satisfaction of over 93% from almost 600 reviews and taking the time to interact 30% of these.”

3) Hotels

Winnaar in de categorie Hotels: Ambassade Hotel.

De eervolle vermelding in deze categorie ging naar Banks Mansion.

– Hotel Sofitel Legend the Grand Amsterdam
– Kimpton De Witt Hotel
– Pulitzer Amsterdam
– Sebastian’s
– The Toren
– Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam

Over de winnaar in deze categorie, Ambassade Hotel, zei Shane Foster van Customer Alliance het volgende:

“To be expected, this hotel is one of the top rated location on portals such as TripAdvisor, Booking.com and Expedia for their city. Located in a UNESCO World Heritage Sites and built in the 17th century, this hotel offers beautiful canal views and also an exceptional in-house restaurant. With over 700 reviews over the past 12 months and achieving a 96.4% guest satisfaction rate, this hotel has showcased what it means to deliver an exceptional and consistent guest experience.”

En over de eervolle vermelding van Banks Mansion werd gezegd:

“The showcased highly commended Hotel for 2018, is again from here in Amsterdam. A boutique hotel which fully embraces the local sites and experiences, this hotel is a favourite amongst guests for the local knowledge of staff alongside the abundance of complimentary extras which are on offer, such as an open bar and buffet breakfasts. Achieving over 95% guest satisfaction over the past 12 months, it’s clear to see that guests love staying at this hotel and all that is on offer.”

The Guest Experience Awards worden jaarlijks uitgereikt, gebaseerd op klanttevredenheidsgegevens en beoordelingen van de afgelopen 12 maanden.
