HSMAI Announces Partnership with Cvent

LONDON 23 January 2020 – HSMAI (the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International) Region Europe announced its partnership with Cvent, a market-leading meetings, events, and hospitality technology provider, today. Through the two-year partnership, Cvent will provide its world-class solutions to power more than 75 small and big events organised by HSMAI Region Europe, which include the HSMAI Meeting and Event Exchange and their Awards at Scandic Fornebu Hotel in Norway, and the Annual HSMAI Europe ROC and their HSMAI Awards; this year at The Savoy Hotel in London on Tuesday January 28th.

HSMAI Region Europe will utilise Cvent’s comprehensive technology platform including:
OnArrival HSMAI Europe event organisers will use OnArrival to seamlessly check-in attendees, streamline onsite registration, print name badges on-demand, and make payments quickly through manned or self-service kiosks.
Social Tables With Social Tables, HSMAI Europe event organisers will leverage to-scale diagramming software with visual seating solutions for real-time collaboration between its planners, vendors, and event staff, enabling them to better visualise the event space and select the perfect venue.
Cvent Appointments With Cvent Appointments, HSMAI event attendees can pre-book meetings with customers, prospects, and fellow members before attending any show or conference, helping delegates maximise the number of in-person meetings at each event.
In addition to providing its event management solutions, Cvent will work closely with HSMAI Region Europe to deliver unique content and share exclusive hospitality industry insights to HSMAI’s close to 3000 European members and further support our commitment to growing business for the hotel, event, and travel industry, and our partners. HSMAI will leverage insights on global sourcing trends from the Cvent Supplier Network, the world’s largest online marketplace connecting event organisers with venues, through which more than USD $16 billion is sourced each year.
