I hope this finds you well. We have some important information and dates to share with you.
The topic for the upcoming Curate in America and Europe is Leadership in Changing Times
The European Curate will take place in Berlin on July 1st and will be followed by HSMAI Region Europe Leadership Day on July 2nd. All this arranged in parallel with HSMAI Region Europe Summer Camp that last from June 28th until July 3rd. The 2 first days will be in collaboration with Cornell University as last year. See here.
In addition, with everything that is happening now regarding the Coronavirus, we will host several virtual meetings with HSMAI Channel. One of the meeting took place yesterday. See here for the recording of the video.
In less than 2 weeks I will attend the Events Industry Council Board meeting. EIC is a coalition of 36 global associations all with a vested interest in the meetings industry. The attendees are the CEO’s of each association so it’s a small group that meet 2 times per year. The current chair is the CEO of IACC who is based in the UK so this time the meeting will take place in UK. Bob Gilbert, the President & CEO of HSMAI America & Global is one of their Board members and he has invited me to join them. See here.
Meetings and Events are so crucial to so many of our member companies and will be high on our agenda moving forward so I am so much looking forward to this meeting and to understand more about the possibilities and challenges for our industry.

On Thursday March 19th the first meeting of the new National Advisory Board UK will take place. The meeting will take from 3 PM to 5.30 PM at the The Royal Horseguards Hotel. If you have any questions about this, please contact us.
After the internal meeting we will host a very interesting and small educational meetings focusing on Sales with the following topic:

Following this meeting we will host a meeting with potential candidates for the HSMAI National Advisory Netherlands. Many people have contacted us and wants to become our Advisors and supporters in the Nederland. We will get back to each and one of them and invite them to the meeting that will take place on March 24th following the educational meeting and networking.
