Engaging Autumn

I hope you’re having a good start to the week. Looking back at last week, it was a busy one for HSMAI Europe, with four meetings held in Oslo, London, Paris, and Copenhagen. It’s incredibly motivating to meet engaged members, and it reaffirms the importance of both local and pan-European meetings for our members.

This week, we will be sending out invitations for you to submit your entries for the European HSMAI Awards, which the winners will be presented on the evening of Thursday, January 16th, at the Savoy Hotel in London. There will be a few new categories this year. The submission deadline is set so we will be giving you a month and a half to prepare, so you’ll have sufficient time.

Next month on October 24th, we will be in Madrid for an evening event in collaboration with two of our members, Radisson Hotel Group and Amadeus. Read more here.

In November we will also be back in Athens and Lisbon.

Fall Curate: An Executive Insights Forum (By-invitation-only)

HSMAI Europe will also be present in London during the WTM week, and we are hosting two invitation-only activities. As earlier announced, the Autumn Curate will take place there again as it has done for several years now.

Topic: Commercialisation of Sustainability

This time the Curate is organised in collaboration with the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance, represented by their Chief Executive Officer – Glenn Mandziuk.

This invitation-only gathering will bring together leaders who are passionate about sustainability and eager to explore innovative strategies for its commercialisation.

(By-invitation-only) Future of the HSMAI Europe Brand? – Exploratory Prototype Workshop

Rebranding has been on our wish list for quite some time. This initiative originated in Europe and we are excited to take the first step in this global process.

On Friday, November 8th, we will be hosting “Future HSMAI Europe Brand? – Exploratory Prototype Workshop”. Running from 9 AM to 5 PM, this workshop will be a key session focused on shaping the future of the HSMAI Europe brand.

The workshop will be moderated by Monna Nordhagen and Kirsti Rogne from Mars Brand Strategy, who previously led a highly successful Digital Branding Masterclass for our members a few years ago.

Empowering Sales Professionals for the Future of Hospitality Sales

The following week HSMAI Europe will host a half a day sales conference in London on November 14th.

The HSMAI Europe Sales Advisory Board is working on the program as we speak and it will be updated shortly.

A full day Sales Conference will take place for the second time on December 12th in Oslo, Norway.
