Tuesday this week we completed our HSMAI ROC Europe and 7 HSMAI Europe Chief Officer Roundtables. You will see some interesting press coverage about the content next week.
Almost 90% said it was excellent or very good. That is even above our expectations and we are very happy and thankful. Almost 90% will attend next year’s physical event (if possible).

We also completed 7 roundtables on Tuesday January 26th, which was:

- Chief Sales Officers
All Roundtables was by invitation only and only for hoteliers. Individuals were invited based on their specific role at a specific company (determined by company type and number of hotels in the company’s portfolio).
HSMAI Europe Board of Directors
The HSMAI Nominating Committee is responsible for developing a slate of candidates and consists of past board members and chairman.The HSMAI Nominating Committee consists of Martin Jørgensen (Chair), CEO and Board member at Foodback and Michael Nowlis, Associate Dean, Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management.
The Board of Directors of the European Region of HSMAI is responsible for providing input for the strategic direction of the association. For now we are looking for board members that primarily are representing the hotel industry. The board meets two to three times a year. Each board member is expected to attend all meetings and actively engage in a minimum of one committee or task force during their term. Board member or board member companies are responsible for the costs of attending the meetings and maintaining a current corporate or organizational membership at HSMAI Region Europe. They will be elected for two years. Two or more of the european board members will also become global board members and attend HSMAI global board meetings together with Ingunn Hofseth, President & CEO, HSMAI Region Europe, once or twice a year.

HSMAI Europe Advisory Boards
The Advisory Boards are HSMAI Region Europe’s advisors in order to become a leading association in Europe identifying and communicating trends and needs in the hospitality industry while operating as a leading voice for hospitality for their respective disciplines.
HSMAI is all about including everyone. We can see a need for more Advisory Boards during these special times. Today we have 8 different Advisory Boards which is:
