Auction for the hospitality industry in Ukraine
I hope this finds you well. I am reaching out to you concerning the auction we are planning to support the hospitality industry in Ukraine.
Support
As this is a time when the hospitality industry needs to unite and support Ukrainians in allowing as many as possible to apply for courses or continue their studies and have opportunities to gain new skills and / or new employment contracts in the industry, we are offering you the perfect opportunity to help support the hospitality industry in Ukraine.
In light of the ongoing conflict, the HSMAI Foundation (Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International) has partnered with HSMAI Europe to establish a designated fund to support both the immediate and longer-term needs of Ukrainians studying and working in the hospitality industry. The fund is administered by the HSMAI Europe Board of Directors and is open to any student or employee who has been impacted by the events of the war including refugees and those still based in Ukraine.
Auction
As an initiative to raise money for the fund, HSMAI Europe will be hosting an auction in the form of a silent auction starting on 29th September for the duration of one week, ending at an HSMAI Europe event in London on 6th October 2022. This will be part of the Cvent Connect that will take place at Intercontinental Hotel – The O2. We will start the promotion of the auction on Thursday, 22nd September.
Prizes
In this regard we are offering you the opportunity to contribute to the fund by donating a service or product that can be auctioned during the auction. Should you be willing to do so we ask you to kindly state the value of your contribution and each donation will be featured with a prominent mention of each donor. You will also be invited to one of our events where you can meet some of the fund’s recipients.
