From PR intern to senior communications professional, Scarlet’s five-year journey with Wyndham has been defined by creativity, storytelling, and growth. Through HSMAI Europe, she’s developed confidence, leadership skills, and a passion for mentoring others entering the industry she loves.

Scarlet vividly remembers her first Connecting Future Leaders event at The Savoy Hotel in London, and how it changed everything.

“I went alone and felt quite nervous,” she says. “But I left feeling inspired and encouraged to apply for the Rising Leaders Council because of the friendly members I met that day.”

Since joining the council, Scarlet has helped organise events and even launched its LinkedIn page. “It’s given me confidence and a real sense of community,” she adds. “Connecting Future Leaders events give you time outside work to think, listen, and collaborate. You leave energised and full of ideas.”
