Meet Andrés Reyes Gjerme

Managing Director at RG Hospitality Management and General Manager of Charmante Skostredet Hôtel, Chair of the HSMAI Europe Rising Leaders Council (Norway)

A hotelier and strategist at heart, Andrès brings a unique mix of operational insight and visionary leadership. As Chair of the Rising Leaders Council, he’s dedicated to building bridges across departments and helping young professionals develop the competence and confidence to thrive.

Andrès joined HSMAI Europe with the hope of creating meaningful impact. “I wanted to be part of something bigger – to help move the industry forward and connect with peers who share the same drive,” he says. “We all face similar challenges, but by working together, we can find solutions that benefit everyone.”

Having started his career in a hotel reception at just 16, Andrès has worked across multiple brands  and countries and now leads both hotel operations and consultancy projects. His focus is on bridging strategy and operations by building structure and culture.and nurturing human capital.

“The most important capital is human capital,” he says. “Hospitality is, and always will be, a people business.”
