Q:æWhat does a day at work consist of for you?
A:æEvery morning I have a quick meeting with the technical team to make sure we have our priorities rights.æ
I then spend a lot of my time better understanding our clients and how we can help them achieve their objectives. It’s often on the phone and via web-conference but I also try to meet face-to-face.
We’re very pro-active and we’re working closely with our clients so we are constantly improving the platform based on their feedback. Since the sales acceleration technologies is an emerging market category several of the discussions are very educational.
Q:æWhat’s the best part of your job?
A:æGetting feedback from our customers and knowing what you are working so hard for is making a difference in someone’s life.
Q:æDo you have anyone you’ve looked up to?
A: Yes actually several people most of them are people close to me friends and family.æ My father is on the top of this list. I have great admiration for people who have been able to succeed very well in their professional and personal life.
As more ‘ìcelebrity type’ I do respect Elon Musk for his vision.
Q:æDo you have any nice traditions at your office?
A:æPoutine on last Friday of the month – you’ll probably have to google what this French Canadian meal is.
Q:æHow long have you been a member of HSMAI?
A:æRight after our nomination for the Best in Class Marketing Awards in February 2016 we started to work closer with HSMAI Region Europe.
Q:æWhat do you think is the best thing about HSMAI?
A:æIt provides the possibility to learn and exchange with incredibly smart people about critical topics of the industry.
Q:æAre there any activities or projects you think HSMAI should start up?
A:æI believe HSMAI have already started to direct some events for the younger generation. I think this is an area with great potential.
Q:æDescribe your perfect weekend.
A:æThat would need to involve some sports (ice-hockey and skiing) a good evening at the pub with friends and some play-time with the family.
Q:æIf you were trapped on a desert island what would you take with you if you could choose one thing?
A:æI initially thought I would say a computer so I can order pizzas. Very geeky response: Virtual Reality headset because that’s probably the most realistic way to stay in contact with my family.
Q:æWhat is the title of the book about your life?
A: “Do you have any stats to take this decision?”
Q:æWhat is your next travel destination?
A:æWith two young kids we keep it simple and stay in Europe this summer: Barcelona and Portugal.
Q:æDo you have any special hobbies?
A:æIce-hockey in UK it’s considered as ‘ìspecial’ in Canada is just a normal thing everybody does.
Q:æThank you for your time. Do you have any personal comments?
A:æThanks for having me!
