Due to challenging circumstances related to the global pandemic, a special Covid Relief Fund was created by HSMAI Foundation to assist hotel professionals being impacted by the crisis. HSMAI Foundation’s COVID Relief Fund Opens with Generous $150,000 Donation from the Carolyn Smith Foundation
In 2020, the HSMAI Foundation created a COVID Relief Fund. Recently, the Carolyn Smith Foundation, Mike Leven, and other generous donors have gifted significant contributions.
(McLean, VA, February 17, 2021) The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Foundation is opening its COVID Relief Fund for grant applications following a generous donation of $150,000 from the Carolyn Smith Foundation on behalf of STR Founders Carolyn and Randy Smith.
The HSMAI Foundation COVID Relief Fund was established in 2020 with the generous support of benefactors including the Carolyn Smith Foundation, IDeaS Revenue Solutions, and individual donors including past and present leaders Hoyt Bacon, Mike Leven, and Flo Lugli. The fund provides HSMAI membership and educational grants for HSMAI programs to members and industry professionals in need due to challenging circumstances related to the global pandemic.

About the Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME)
The CRME is a prestigious certification in revenue management from the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI). Individuals working in revenue management in the hospitality industry, if they meet the minimum qualifications, can take an exam to confirm their knowledge, experience, and capabilities in the field. The study guide for the exam, which is included in the examination fee, is Evolving Dynamics: From Revenue Management to Revenue Strategy, published by the HSMAI in 2019, developed under the leadership of HSMAI’s Revenue Optimization Advisory Board.

Created by hoteliers for hoteliers, the CHDM recognizes digital marketing professionals for their expertise in leveraging digital channels to maximize online revenues. It is administered by the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI).
Hospitality industry professionals, if they meet the minimum qualifications, can take an exam to confirm their knowledge, experience, and capabilities in the digital marketing field.
